Our take
The Bee AI Memory Companion scores a perfect 100/100 DriftScore โ the highest in our entire database โ which sounds incredible until you realize the device is currently sold out and has some serious caveats.
At just $49.99, it's the most affordable AI wearable we track. 7-day battery, automatic conversation segmentation, Gmail and Google Calendar integration, Daily Insights that surface mood and relationship patterns, and a one-button operation. Build quality at 65/100 reflects the plastic construction, but daily utility at 84/100 shows it's genuinely useful.
The big problem: mandatory $19/month subscription. Over a year, that's $228 on top of the hardware โ suddenly that "$50 device" costs $278. AI hallucinations from background TV or podcasts contaminate your summaries. The sports band is flimsy. It drains your phone battery via continuous Bluetooth. And right now, it's sold out.
"Good price" momentum with a light-green label, and it's never been above $49.99. The DriftScore is inflated by the extreme hardware value โ but total cost of ownership tells a different story.
Bottom line: Buy when it's back in stock if you attend many meetings and don't mind the $19/month commitment โ but factor in the total annual cost before getting excited about the $50 price tag.
