The Pixel Buds Pro 2 score 79/100 and pack Google's best AI tricks into the smallest, lightest earbuds they've ever made — 24% lighter and 27% smaller than the originals.
The custom Tensor A1 chip handles Gemini Live for natural conversations, Live Translate for real-time language translation, and 2x stronger ANC — all without a subscription. 8 hours of battery with ANC on, 30 hours with the case. Performance scores 87/100, and the sound quality punches well above its weight class.
In the AI Earbuds lineup, they trail the AirPods Pro 3 (84) and Samsung Galaxy Buds 4 Pro (80) slightly, but they're the only earbuds with Gemini Live baked in. No heart rate tracking though, and Spatial Audio isn't as polished as Apple's implementation. Best AI features require a Pixel phone.
At $229, the lowest recorded price is $60 (likely an error or extreme clearance), and they've been spotted under $170 regularly. Momentum says "Fair price" but Amazon currently lists them at $199.99. Shop around.
